When everything seems calm and free of pressure, things may already be on the verge of collapse.
Sometimes the situations that appear most stable are, in fact, the most fragile—where rupture can be imminent, even if everything looks at peace. We don’t know whether the strings are breaking, whether they’ve already broken, or what has caused it.
The arrangement of the broken threads evokes a sense of fragility that is also interwoven with the idea of connection, as in The Creation of Adam. These forms, resembling frayed cords or roots, not only recall the artisanal—as a symbol of the handmade and the ancient—but also invite us to reflect on neural or technological connections. In the same way, they can be seen as delicate wires.
